Kimmah is fascinated by decaying concrete basements and forgotten industrial structures. It is those sort of places she soundtracks with her high-energy DJ sets which mix up raw, dark yet funky electro from all points on the spectrum. She only started when the pandemic hit, but has already made an indelible mark on her local scene in Rotterdam as a resident at FOMO. Her swift rise is a testament to the irresistible grit and sleaze of her selections, the infectious bump and grind of her beats, and the thrilling ghetto textures of her grooves.

Kimmah was born in Utrecht, spent some time studying in Berlin and settled in Rotterdam shortly before the pandemic hit. When it kept her away from the dance floor connections she loved so much, she decided to make them for herself. She spent the whole of lockdown locked up and working on some old CDJs and turntables. She came out the other side with a terminator DJ style that never lets up and draws on acid, breaks, ghetto, punk and rap vocals, nasty basslines or hard- hitting rhythm. It is an electrifying style that is always full of surprises.

Berk Duygun (also known as BäRK) is a contemporary artist and curator based in The Hague. His work operates at the intersection of auditory practice, spatial storytelling, and constructed environments — often blurring the boundary between performance, installation, and fiction.

With a background in fine arts and a strong presence in independent scenes, as a Royal Academy of Arts The Hague graduate Duygun builds narrative-driven projects that move across formats: DJ sets, curated exhibitions, urban interventions, broadcast works, and custom-built sound systems. Whether through an after-hours basement set or an experimental installation, his practice revolves around mood architecture, tension, and myth.

He has performed and exhibited at spaces including Club Laak, where he closed the Dekmantel Club Tour in The Hague in 2025, Kiosk Radio, PIP, Weelde, Grey Space, Operator Radio, Sexyland, and This Art Fair.

As a curator, he has developed multidisciplinary exhibitions featuring emerging artists across auditory, visual, and hybrid practices. His curatorial work includes initiatives for Art Safari – Park Sessies HaarlemThe Night Watch – GhentThis Art Fair – Amsterdam, and Museum Night – The Hague.

Duygun also runs Royal Surf Club, an autonomous platform merging experimental club nights with contemporary art programming. Since 2018, Royal Surf Club has hosted genre-fluid events in collaboration with underground spaces and institutions, gaining cult recognition for its hybrid format and off-grid approach to exhibition-making and nightlife.

In fall 2025, alongside curating both a group exhibition and the official afterparty for Museum Night, Duygun is releasing a multi-phase project involving a custom-built Game Boy game. The cartridge acts as a playable experience of the local underground — featuring in-game appearances by real venues, DJs, crew members, and nightlife figures from The Hague and Rotterdam. Part digital artifact, part interactive release, the project extends his practice into new narrative formats while preserving the local mythos in playable form.

Labeling Mehran as a DJ is a difficult task. Mostly because he walks a quite individual path when it comes to his musical inspiration. This inspiration isn’t driven by a single style or musical genre. Although his roots as a DJ derive from the love for Chigago House, his focus nowadays ranges most of the (electronic) music spectrum. All the variables in his taste do have one major thing in common; finding and sharing real, authentic and exceptional records that have, or will, stand the test of time. Over the years he developed an eye to find those outstanding records.
